Energy feedback unit suppliers remind you that with the development of power electronics technology, various industries have increasingly high requirements for voltage and power control, and the structure of matching high-voltage or low-voltage frequency converters is becoming more and more complex. For low-voltage frequency converters, in order to ensure their normal and stable operation, daily maintenance must be carried out, and simple diagnosis and treatment of some common faults must be carried out. The following are common daily maintenance methods and usage precautions for low-voltage frequency converters:
1、 Common countermeasures for overheating problems of frequency converters
For places where the operating environment temperature of the frequency converter is high, it is recommended to lower the temperature of the location where the frequency converter is located, strengthen cooling and ventilation;
2. Increase the frequency of regular maintenance of frequency converter fans, air ducts, etc., in order to improve the operating environment of the frequency converter and maintain its continuous heat dissipation capability;
3. To monitor the operating temperature of the frequency converter, it is recommended to use the color changing temperature measurement patch method to monitor the heating situation of the frequency converter.
2、 Daily inspection content of frequency converter
1. Check if the operation panel is functioning properly;
2. Check if the power supply voltage, output voltage, and DC voltage are normal;
3. Check if the power and output wires are overheating, deformed, or burnt out;
4. Check if the cooling fan is running normally;
5. Check whether the temperature of the radiator is normal and other aspects.
3、 Precautions for use
1. The use of low-voltage variable frequency is severely affected by the environment. When applying, ensure that the surrounding environment is clean and the temperature is controlled below 40 degrees. Excessive temperature can seriously affect its lifespan;
2. When wiring, disconnect the power supply and use a multimeter to determine if there is any external voltage;
3. The grounding terminal is well grounded;
4. Ensure appropriate humidity, temperature, and cleanliness;
5. The wiring layout is correct, and the most important thing is the input and output lines;
6. Install cooling and ventilation equipment;
7. Choose a high-frequency residual current switch before using it;
8. It is prohibited to install compensating capacitors or capacitor limiters between the frequency converter and the motor, and to install electromagnetic contactors, etc.
When performing maintenance on low-voltage frequency converters, it is important to pay attention to the temperature of the installation environment, regularly clean the dust inside the frequency converter, and ensure the smooth flow of the cooling air path. Moreover, it is necessary to strengthen inspections, improve the surrounding environment of frequency converters, motors, and circuits, ensure the correct connection of various electrical circuits, and prevent unnecessary shutdown accidents.
