How to maintain a frequency converter at low temperatures

Suppliers of frequency converter supporting equipment remind you that after the beginning of winter, the weather becomes increasingly cold. In the cold and high-altitude regions of northern China during winter, the phenomenon of frequency converters being "frozen to death" is very common. Therefore, users should take necessary measures to ensure the normal operation of frequency converters.

1、 Try to install indoors with heating facilities, ensuring that the indoor temperature is above minus 10 degrees Celsius;

2、 If the frequency converter shuts down for a short period of time, do not cut off the power, let the frequency converter be powered on and in standby mode;

3、 If the ambient temperature of the frequency converter is below minus 10 degrees Celsius, heating measures can be taken in the distribution cabinet, such as installing a small warm air blower and an electric heating belt. If it is not feasible, a high-power light bulb can also be installed;

4、 To cooperate with the third item, it is best to wrap a thick plastic cloth around the outside of the distribution cabinet to reduce the circulation of cold air;

5、 Avoid the phenomenon of "slow frost" in the frequency converter, otherwise the water droplets formed after "slow frost" will condense on the circuit board, causing a short circuit and explosion.

The frequency converter is not only "afraid of heat", but also "afraid of cold". We have safely survived the hot summer, and we also need to maintain the frequency converter well in the cold winter.
